I have built this site to generate further interest in the 'Great Battles' series. The site has the following aims.
or at least avoiding a disastrous defeat at the hands of the computer AI. If you have any hints and tips please submit them.
How those amazing scores were achieved ! This can't always be copied as it depends on what the computer AI does.
To get your name into lights, please submit your high score with a snapshot of the winning screen. Please also state the level of difficulty and importantly for other players, how you managd to achieve the score. A few notes on tactics would be welcomed.
If you have a scenario you think worthy of passing on, submit the scenario with your Name, the aim of the scenario and any relevant historical information.
For inclusion in the High Scores table, please e-mail me a compressed snapshot of your score

Some Legal Stuff
Due to the declining availability and lack of any publisher, the Great Battles Scenario Editor has recently (June 2003) been added to this site. The Scenario Player was originally given away free with the Collectors Edition of the Great Battles game. To date it has not appeared anywhere else. With the collectors edition of the game no longer available and nobody appears to be publishing or interested in publishing it, the Scenario Player has been made available on this site It will allow you to play the Scenarios on this and other sites created by individuals. New scenarios are created with the Scenario Editor - also part of the GB Collectors Edition - and for this I ask you to send proof you have at least one of the original Great Battles games.
